Cloning Tool

Sometimes a simple tool can do magic! This week I learn new techniques for the cloning tool. Above is a picture of Tom Cruise riding a motorcycle, and with the cloning tool, we had to make it look as if nobody is there. There are some advises in order to make it look more real for example cloning can look like repetition, so be careful to not grab bids from the same place more than 2 times. Work in a new layer, do not start cloning in the same layer, if you mess up you will have to start again. Remember to change current layer to all layers in the cloning menu. A good tip is that when you are trying to fix a mistake, changing opacity is a really good idea. Always try to use brush hardness about 70% - 80%. Small brushes can be really noticeable.

Works like the one above can be very challenging because is basically rebuilding the whole road, bushes and of course removing a big object from the picture. What I have learned about doing this is that having a lot of patience is very important to end up with a good job.
